Motion Activated Cameras
This ingenious camera will detect when there is motion and then start recording, thus reducing the size of saved files and decreasing the need for processing power on the DVR or server. Also, the camera uses less power than a traditional full time recording camera, because it only uses power is when recording. The cameras include a full menu a features, including 3 megapixel video, decentralized processing, IR illumination and on board video storage.
With the use of motion detection software the motion activated security cameras are capable of alerting monitoring stations of unauthorized activities. Once alerted, the monitoring station can “look in” remotely, on the internet, or on a PDA through the cameras and respond accordingly.
