Proactive Service Through Remote Monitoring Saves You Money

1

….by reducing the need for a service call.

Service Calls Can Be Expensive

Dispatching a van with a skilled service technician for a physical site visit is a relatively expensive way to make sure that your video security system is working as designed, especially when troubleshooting simple network errors like router malfunctions.

But it’s even more costly to discover a camera malfunctioned or the system was offline at the time of an incident.

Remote monitoring for system maintenance through a proactive service contract is the solution.

IP networked video security cameras coupled with our proactive monitoring service eliminates the need for most routine service calls to verify that all cameras and the system itself are operating as implemented.

If we are monitoring your system under our service contract, we can detect problems and system malfunctions remotely. Many issues that are detected can also be resolved through remote system modifications.

Sending a van out for a short service call usually costs at leasts $250. The remote monitoring service we offer can eliminate the need for many of these service calls, especially for problems like router malfunctions, and IP address issues, and port mapping.

Many industrial settings (especially mining and heavy manufacturing) require cameras that can operate in intense conditions.

In industrial settings, heat, dust, chemical intrusion, even humidity can contribute to camera malfunction, especially if your system includes a combination of older generation and new generation cameras. The new cameras may have better sensors (or have less debris buildup) for these intense working conditions, compared to cameras that have been installed for several years.

Regardless of the cause, the last thing you want is for a camera to fail and the failure to go unnoticed until there’s a problem.

If you’re using security cameras to provide evidence in the event of a workplace safety incident or criminal act, a camera that’s online and recording as designed can be the difference between a legal win and or a loss. If a camera malfunctions or is tampered with, our monitoring service can detect and troubleshoot, so that the video evidence is on your hard drive, if and when it’s needed.

Proactive Maintenance Is An Investment

The solution, of course, is to be proactive in system maintenance. The most cost-effective way to do that is take advantage of our remote monitoring service contract.

Our proactive service options with remote monitoring can reduce the need for physical service calls, saving your business money and keeping your system online.
